**Preface**
From September until now, my new house has been completely renovated and the decoration looks great. It's a relief to know that everything is done properly. A few weeks ago, the unit held a seminar. The main topics were about air (pollution), gas (protection), fog (smog), and the dangers of (mouth) damage (mask), as well as (sale) aldehyde (net). It mentioned the risks of (instrumental) damage. After listening to the talk, I was quite encouraged and left the meeting room right away.
Once home, I started wondering how to deal with formaldehyde. I read a lot of articles online, but it turned out to be more complicated than I expected. First of all, I didn’t even know what formaldehyde was or where it might be in my home. I needed a way to test it, but the options ranged from cheap devices that I couldn’t trust to expensive ones I couldn’t afford. Even if I could buy one, I wasn’t sure if it would work. I had no intention of buying the Wukong M1 at first, especially since my aunt asked me to make a big purchase. So I decided to try things on my own.
**Unboxing**

â–² The box was already opened.

â–² Fijian Air Energy Net App QR Code

â–² Similar to an old MP4

â–² M1 introduction

â–² The body of the MP4

â–² Back side, the USB port shouldn't be used externally

â–² WiFi button on the side, the ticket below the car doesn't show

â–² The texture of the line is completely lacking

â–² Power and brightness

â–² Scan QR code to go to the app

▲ It seems impossible to connect to Wi-Fi (I don’t know if there’s any other influence besides X in the upper right corner.)

â–² APP download finished

▲ Honestly, this app isn’t much better than Fai’s router app.

â–² No network at home, so I used a hotspot

â–² Connecting...

â–² Can't connect to 5G Wi-Fi

â–² Immediately connected
**First Impressions**
The unboxing experience was similar to opening an MP4 box. Originally, I wanted to buy the silver version, but it was out of stock. So I went for rose gold instead, which came with a 50-yuan coupon. The good thing about the color is that it looks nice at first glance, but the downside is that it doesn’t look great after a while.

**Testing the M1**
After connecting, I started testing different areas of the new house. One inconvenience was that the M1 itself didn’t have a power supply, so I had to use a portable power bank (the company said they’d send one, but I still had to bring my own).

â–² Customized bookcase (called "dew river plate")

â–² Music cabinet

â–² Cabinets made by local woodworkers

â–² App synchronization value

â–² Cabinet bowls

â–² Lingier floor
**Formaldehyde Test**
The new house is full of formaldehyde, and I’m not sure whether to believe the M1 or not. Is it only measuring fixed values? I don’t have anything else, so I used a humidifier to fight it.

▲ Fortunately, it’s not a fixed value, but I still don’t know if the reading is reliable.

â–² Toilets coated with plastic

â–² Tried the millet purifier, seems like you can breathe into it afterward
**Observations**
The formaldehyde level isn’t very volatile. Maybe that’s why I’ve been ventilating all the time. I put the M1 in a locker for a while and saw changes.

â–² A cabinet made by a woodworker, closed for a minute

â–² After closing the custom furniture
**Final Thoughts**
After testing the new home, it wasn’t very rigorous. The house has been ventilated for a long time, and I tried to get some data during a snowfall.

â–² Looks like the temperature is too low, no real data (actual temp was negative)

â–² Got back home and got startled by the electric current

▲ High formaldehyde value—could this be the reason for my summer sleeplessness?

▲ Opened the window and tested—PM2.5 increased, formaldehyde decreased. Is it true that people are either poisoned or not?

â–² Got up early and saw light pollution under the ink

▲ In the balcony, it really isn’t much better

▲ Put it in a friend’s car and tested (H6 for a month, AC on)

▲ Found the Chinese version of the “Guidelines for the Control of Indoor Environmental Pollution in Civil Building Projects†(GB 50325) online: Class I civil buildings, including residential buildings, offices, hospitals, and schools, should not exceed 0.08 mg/m³ of formaldehyde.
Even though the test wasn’t rigorous and the M1’s accuracy wasn’t guaranteed, it still served as a reference. I read an article on Fan Fan’s public account and found the formaldehyde readings interesting.
**Reflections**
After all that, I just want to say that while the numbers for formaldehyde and PM2.5 matter, it’s sad when you feel the smog in the capital city and can’t see the traffic lights. At that time, I missed the blue sky and white clouds in Xining, which were so beautiful and pure. When I returned to Xining, the capital of the eighteenth line (some may not know this place), I found that even there, the number of yellow and gray days had increased. Why is a plateau city like Xining now on the list of polluted cities? I can no longer be proud of the blue sky and white clouds in Xining because there are none anymore.
There are M1s online that use sensors from the Climbing canopy, and some people have dismissed the Feixun Forum. It’s known that this sensor is top-tier, and DIY experts can’t easily build such air detectors themselves.
Thinking back, after ventilating, the new house should also be tested with sealed conditions. There’s a difference.

â–² Still a piece of dew river sheet furniture (unventilated)

â–² Or a music cupboard (not ventilated)

â–² A cabinet made by a local carpenter (unventilated)

â–² New house sealed for a few hours (no ventilation, M1 placed in the living room)
From this, it seems that formaldehyde is still present in the new house, and ventilation does help reduce it, provided it's done properly.
**Other Features**

▲ Sleep mode — if equipped with an alarm, this feature is not useful.

▲ Brightness adjustment — this interface is much better than Fiore’s app.
**Summary**
Feixun’s air purification app is called Feixin Air Power Net. Now that Wukong has detected air quality, Wujing has purified air, and I’m curious about what equipment it can be. Fiji now has routers, body fat scales, sweepers, and purifiers. I can only lament that my ID card isn’t enough. Once on the K2P, I can only change the ID on the M1. To be honest, if it’s not a free device, the M1 is almost worthless. You can buy it for 150 and play around. (Special consultation with old customers to get on the train, need a K code voucher, 10,000 points in the points mall exchange, you can also buy a 90-day financial app product worth 10,000 yuan.)
M1 is strongly recommended to add a built-in power supply, which would significantly increase its usability. Many users suggest adding an alarm clock, and I agree. Technology brings pressure, but it would be great to have a broadcast of the best of the day. Otherwise, the device has to be connected to Wi-Fi, and this also mentions the issue of Fijian’s back door. This is indeed a security risk.
