**Preface**
From September until now, the new house has been completely renovated, and the decoration looks great. It's a relief to feel assured about the environment. A few weeks ago, the unit organized a promotional event. The main topics discussed were air (pollution), gas (protection), fog (smog), and the dangers of (mouth) damage (masks), as well as (sale) aldehyde (net). They mentioned that aldehyde is dangerous and can cause (instrumental) harm. After listening to the presentation, I was quite encouraged and left the conference room immediately.
Once home, I started wondering how to deal with formaldehyde. I read a lot of articles online, but it turned out to be more complicated than I expected. First, I didn’t even know what formaldehyde was or where it might be in my home. I needed to test it, but the options ranged from dozens to thousands of dollars—cheap ones I couldn’t trust, expensive ones I couldn’t afford. I even considered buying the Wukong M1, but since I wasn’t at the event when the auntie asked me to make a big purchase, I had no choice but to try on my own.
**Unboxing**

â–² The box was already opened.

â–² Fijian Air Energy Net App QR Code.

â–² Looks like an old MP4 player.

â–² Introduction of M1.

â–² The body looks like an MP4.

â–² Back panel; USB port seems not for external use.

▲ WiFi button on the side, but the ticket doesn’t show anything.

â–² The wiring texture is completely missing.

â–² Power and brightness controls.

â–² Scanning the QR code to start the app.

â–² Can't connect to WiFi (not sure if the X in the top right affects it).

â–² App downloaded successfully.

▲ Honestly, this app isn’t much better than the Fai router app.

â–² No network at home, so using a hotspot.

â–² Connecting...

â–² Can't connect to 5G WiFi.

â–² Finally connected.
**First Impressions**
Unboxing the M1 felt like opening an old MP4 box. Originally, I wanted to buy the silver version, but it was out of stock. So I went for rose gold, which came with a 50-yuan coupon. The good thing about rose gold is that it looks nice at first glance, but the downside is that it doesn’t look great over time.

**Testing the M1**
After connecting, I started testing different areas of the new house. One inconvenience was that the M1 itself doesn’t come with a power supply. I had to use a portable power bank (which the company said they would send, but I had to bring one myself).

â–² Customized bookcase (called "Dew River Board").

â–² Music cabinet.

â–² Cabinets made by local woodworkers.

â–² App synchronization value.

â–² Cabinet bowls.

â–² Lingier floor.
The new house is full of formaldehyde, but I don’t believe the M1 gives accurate readings. I tried using a humidifier to fight it, but the results still seem unclear.

▲ Fortunately, the reading isn’t fixed, but I’m still unsure if it’s reliable.

â–² Toilets coated with plastic.

â–² Tried the millet purifier, and it seemed to work.
I noticed that the formaldehyde levels don’t change much. Maybe that’s why I’ve been ventilating all the time. I put the M1 in a locker for a while, and there were indeed changes.

â–² A custom wooden cabinet closed for a minute.

â–² Closed doors of custom furniture.
After testing the new home, it wasn’t very rigorous. The house had been ventilated for a long time, and I just wanted to see if the street after snowfall had any real data.

â–² The temperature was too low, so no real data.

â–² Got an electric shock at home.

▲ High formaldehyde reading. Could this be why I couldn’t sleep in summer?

â–² Opened the window, PM2.5 increased, formaldehyde decreased. Is this true?

â–² Early morning light pollution under the ink.

â–² Balcony test: not much better.

▲ Tested in a friend’s car (H6 for a month, AC on).

▲ Found the Chinese version of GB 50325 guidelines. Formaldehyde should not exceed 0.08 mg/m³.
Even though the test wasn’t very scientific, and I wasn’t sure about the accuracy of the M1, I still used it as a reference. I read an article on the FanFan public account and saw the formaldehyde values.
After all this, I realized that testing formaldehyde and PM2.5 numbers isn’t everything. It’s sad that in the capital city, you can’t see traffic lights through the smog, and the blue sky and white clouds from Xining are gone. When I returned to Xining, the capital of the eighteenth line, I found that the number of yellow and gray days had increased. Why is a plateau city like Xining now on the list of polluted cities? I can no longer be proud of the blue skies and white clouds in Xining because there are none left.
Some people online say that the M1 uses sensors from Climbing Canopy, and there are discussions on the Feixun Forum. It’s said that the Climbing Canopy sensor is well-known, and DIY experts can’t easily make such air detectors themselves.
Thinking back, the new house shouldn’t just be tested after ventilation. It should be sealed for a while to check the formaldehyde level.

â–² Still a piece of Dew River board furniture (unventilated).

â–² Or a music cabinet (unventilated).

â–² A cabinet made by a local carpenter (unventilated).

â–² New house closed for a few hours (no ventilation, M1 placed in the living room).
From this, it seems that formaldehyde is still present in the new house, and ventilation does help reduce it.
**Sleep Mode & Brightness Adjustment**

▲ Sleep mode—would be better with an alarm.

▲ Brightness adjustment—this interface is way more advanced than Fiore’s app.
**Summary**
Feixun’s air purification app is called Feixin Air Power Net. Now that Wukong has detected air quality, and Wujing has purified the air, I'm curious about what other equipment it can be paired with. Fiji now offers routers, body fat scales, sweepers, and purifiers. I can only lament that my ID card isn’t enough. Once on the K2P car, you have to change the ID on the M1 car. To be honest, if it weren’t for the free car, the M1 would be worthless. You could buy it for around 150 yuan and play with it. (I specially consulted old customers and found that you need a K code voucher, which can be exchanged with 10,000 points in the points mall, or buy a 10,000 yuan product in the financial app for 90 days.)
I strongly recommend adding a built-in power supply to the M1. This would significantly expand its usage scenarios. Many users suggest adding an alarm clock function. I also support this idea. Technology should bring convenience, not pressure. Otherwise, the device has to be connected to Wi-Fi, and this issue was also mentioned regarding Fijian’s backdoor. This is indeed a security risk.
