The blowout of LED lighting products has appeared, but the safety quality needs to be strengthened. The author is a staff member of the Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of a certain place. This paper analyzes the typical cases of LED light source and LED lamps and other unqualified products, and gives rectification opinions to improve the quality of export products.

1, case analysis

1.1 Case 1

A certain batch of LED bulbs that a certain enterprise exports to the EU will be accepted. After sampling according to the requirements, the inspection agency will inspect the products according to the requirements of 1EC62560-2011. After testing, it was found that there are two problems in the LED bulb: 1. The marking required by the standard is lacking; 2. It is broken down during the withstand voltage test.

1.1.1 The requirements for marking are as follows: 1. Source mark (may take the name of the trademark, manufacturer or vendor); 2. Rated voltage or voltage range (indicated by "V" or "volt"); 3. Rated power (in “W” or “Watt” means); 4. Rated frequency (indicated by “Hz”).

Manufacturers, trademarks, etc. are important components of the mark. The luminaire lacks the source mark, the manufacturer can not find the manufacturer or distributor of the light bulb through the appliance, and finds that the product quality problem can not be returned in time; lack of source mark, the government and other relevant departments lack the important means of tracking the production enterprise through the product, Disrupt the market order.

1.1.2 The standard requires a withstand voltage test between the L/N poles of the lamp and other accessible parts. The test voltage is 2U+2000V (the rated voltage of the U lamp), and the test time is 1 minute.

The electric strength test is a major test item that must be passed for exporting LED bulbs. Failure to pass the electric strength test will short-circuit the internal components of the product, posing a risk of electric shock and fire, posing a serious threat to people's lives and property. During the test, the LED bulb flashed and broke down. After dismantling, it was found that the creepage distance between the internal charging parts of the LED bulb and the metal heat-dissipating housing was too small, and the guiding LED bulb could not withstand the standard specified electric strength.

1.2 Case 2

A certain batch of LED lights that a certain enterprise exports to the EU is accepted. After sampling according to the requirements, the inspection agency shall inspect the products according to the requirements of 1 EC60598- 1-2008. The following problems were found in the LED lamp: 1. The mark failed to pass the wiping test; 2. The electric strength test failed; 3. The grounding point was not marked, and the yellow-green two-color grounding wire was not used; 4. The power cord was smaller than the wire diameter standard requirement.

1.2.1 Marking is an important reference for consumers to use the appliance. To ensure long-term readability of the marking, the LED light must be tested for durability. The test method is as follows: wipe with water and gasoline for 15s each, the mark should not appear to fall off, curled or blurred and unrecognizable. The sample did not use silk screen or a protective film to protect the product mark, resulting in a durability test that failed the mark.

1.2.2 Anti-electricity test to prevent surges and protect the safety of consumers and appliances. Appliances must pass the electric strength test. A voltage of 1500V between the two poles of the sample and the ground metal is allowed to last for 1 minute, and no breakdown should occur. After analysis, the reason for the failure of the electric strength is that the isolation transformer used in the appliance cannot meet the standard requirements, and the isolation transformer has already broken down at 1200V.

1.2.3 There should be a grounding symbol at the grounding terminal and a dedicated yellow-green two-color power supply conductor. The grounding wire should use the yellow-green two-color line and the yellow-green two-color line can only be used for grounding. At the same time, the grounding symbol can be clearly used to identify the grounding part of the appliance to ensure the grounding performance of the appliance is good and protect the consumer. Electrical Safety.

1.2.4 The sample mark indicates that the product has a waterproof and dustproof rating greater than lP20, which meets certain waterproof and dustproof requirements and is a non-common light fixture. The working environment of non-ordinary luminaires is relatively harsh. The mechanical strength of the power cord is relatively high. To ensure that the power cord is not torn and the power requirements during the use of the product, the standard stipulates that the external cord of the non-common luminaire requires at least the wire diameter. 1.0mm square. The power cord of the sample sent is only 0.75mm square, which is less than the standard requirement.

2. Summary and corporate response plan

2.1 According to statistics, the items of unqualified LED lighting products are mainly concentrated in the identification. The failure of the logo accounted for more than 50% of the total unqualified items, but the identification problem is also the easiest to solve. Mainly because the company failed to pay attention to the problem of marking, or its own scientific research strength is not enough to understand the items required by the standard.

By strengthening their own attention and improving the factory inspection process to ensure the integrity and durability of the mark, the company can solve the mark problem of missing marks and endurance.

2.2 The failure rate of electric strength is more than 20% of the total unqualified items. The failure of electric strength is caused by many reasons. Mainly the use of unqualified electronic components or structural design is not reasonable, creepage distance and electrical clearance is too small.

Enterprises need to establish a complete incoming inspection system to ensure that the selected components meet the requirements of the standard; at the same time, improve the staff's working ability, and participate in safety training to ensure that the designed products can meet the creepage distance and electrical equipment clearance. Requirements.

2.3 Grounding measures and the reasons for the failure of the external cord project are the same as the identification, which can increase the degree of attention, thus greatly reducing the probability of similar unqualified items.
