In order to maintain a healthy market economy, protect the rights and interests of consumers, and enhance supervision over product quality in the distribution sector, the Gansu Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce conducted a random inspection of lamps and printers available in the local market, in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. The results of the sampling revealed that 56 batches of lamps and lanterns failed to meet the required standards. The primary issues included non-compliance with safety markings, lamp power (W), initial light efficiency (lm/W), luminous flux, and color characteristics. Similarly, several batches of printers were also found unqualified, with problems mainly related to labeling, description accuracy, and protection against electric shocks and energy hazards. In response, the industrial and commercial authorities will take legal actions against the retailers selling these substandard products. Additionally, the manufacturers and distributors responsible for the不合格 items are required by law to issue public recalls, remove the products from shelves, and delist them from the market.
