With the rapid development of the automotive industry, Suzuki, a long-standing name in car manufacturing, seems to be struggling to keep up with the latest trends. However, this perception could not be further from the truth. In fact, Suzuki is about to launch a vehicle that will completely reshape how people view the brand.

Back in 2014, Changan Suzuki officially announced the upcoming model, stating it would be released in the second half of that year. But after three years of waiting, the car still hasn’t hit the market. The reason for the delay remains unclear, but it only adds to the anticipation surrounding its eventual launch.

The new model is called the Suzuki AuthenTIcs, positioned as a mid-size car aimed primarily at the Chinese market. It’s considered one of the most attractive designs from Suzuki, with an estimated starting price of around 100,000 yuan.

The design of the AuthenTIcs is bold and modern, breaking away from traditional Suzuki styling. The front features a two-layered grille, with LED headlights and fog lights that give it a sharp and futuristic look. The chrome-plated horizontal slats on the front bumper add a touch of luxury, while the sculpted hood lines emphasize both elegance and power.

From the side, the car has a low, sleek profile with smooth body lines. The paint includes a special phosphor coating for a striking visual effect, and the door handles are designed to be hidden, giving the vehicle a minimalist and clean appearance.

The rear of the car features a small spoiler that enhances its sporty appeal, along with LED taillights that use a dual-loop design for better visibility. The exhaust system also sports a dual-pipe setup, reinforcing the car's dynamic character.

In terms of dimensions, the AuthenTIcs measures 4600 mm in length, 1815 mm in width, and 1390 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2750 mm. This ensures ample interior space for passengers and cargo alike.

Under the hood, the car will come equipped with two engine options: a 1.4T turbocharged unit and a 1.6L naturally aspirated engine. Both will be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission, offering drivers flexibility and performance.
