Users can integrate their own custom programs into the Micro/WIN programming software. This allows them to call pre-defined library instructions that perform similar functions without needing to open multiple project files simultaneously. The instruction library can also be easily shared across different computers used for programming.

New Library Creation Steps:

1. In the File menu of Micro/WIN, select "Create Library..." or right-click on the "Libraries" branch in the instruction tree and choose "Create Library...".
2. In the "Create Library" dialog box, select which subprograms you want to include in the library.
3. Go to the "Properties" tab to set the library name, specify the directory path for the generated file, and enter version information.
4. Set a password for the library in the "Protection" tab.
5. Click "OK" to confirm. The resulting command library file will have the extension ".mwl". By default, the "lib" folder is located in the Micro/WIN installation directory, and library files can be copied or moved as standalone files.

Adding the Instruction Library:

1. Select "Add/Remove Libraries..." from the File menu in Micro/WIN, or right-click on the "Libraries" branch in the instruction tree and choose "Add/Remove Libraries...".
2. Click the "Add" button to select the path of the newly created library file. User-defined libraries will automatically appear under the "Libraries" branch in the command tree.

Calling user-defined instructions from the library is very similar to using subroutines. It streamlines the programming process and improves efficiency by allowing developers to reuse code across projects seamlessly.
