Since 2011, the Ningbo Science and Technology Innovation Team led by Chen Jinsheng has focused on the analysis of the deactivation mechanism and causes of SCR (selective catalytic reduction) catalysts, developed an efficient catalyst regeneration compound formula and active repair formula, and successfully developed Deactivated denitrification regeneration device with industrial application.

“The market demand for denitrification catalysts in Ningbo is huge. Usually one cubic meter of catalyst is between 3.5 and 45,000 yuan. If it is lost after activity is changed, the purchase cost is too high, and disposal of the abandoned catalyst is not only expensive, but also causes secondary pollution. "Chen Jinsheng said that using ultrasonic chemical cleaning, active load, rinsing, drying and other processes through the regeneration process after the first deactivation, usually the service life can reach 22,000 hours, some catalysts even have the possibility of secondary regeneration.
