In 2011, under the ECFA framework, LED was listed as one of the five directions for cross-strait industrial cooperation." Wu Ling said that in the past decade, in the optoelectronic industry cooperation, The two sides of the strait have signed an industrial yearbook, three technical specifications and two common technical specifications for the two sides of the strait.

"The power consumption of LEDs is only about 20% of the brightness of conventional tungsten light sources. Its high-profile industrial status has made pure semiconductor light sources an indispensable component of the new era of lighting systems."
